    Description

    VINTAGE-AR is now offering a pair of new replacement grilles, patterned from an original AR-6 grille, complete with new replacement grille cloth.
    Without impacting the acoustics, we strengthened the frames. Additionally, we used a high strength material vs. the thin frames AR used. After searching for six years we have finally located a foreign manufacturer to supply us linen fabric that we are willing to sell as replacement material for these classic AR speakers.  What we have succeeded in purchasing  is 100% open weave linen with the correct thread count and the little "slubs" (heavy pieces of thread) running up and down the grille. We are now utilizing this fabric on all of our restorations.
