Rare French 18k gold romantic ring with a heart shaped fiery Australian opal that's so full of fire with life with vivid blue, green and purple color that is stunning day or night. It has twenty rose cut diamonds set in silver and bright ruby set bow on top from the early 1800's Georgian or early victorian era.
This stunning find features a makers mark and eagles head for 18k gold and tests as such. It fits a ring size 8 3/4, but can be resized by your jeweler and weighs 4.8 grams. The opal is 1.40 ct, rubies 0.15 ct and the diamonds 0.24 cts. There is age related wear as the opal has a scratch at the end and it comes in its original leather case.
