Compare these with the "O-Ring" style offered elsewhere.  These afford more contact area with the envelope, since "O-Ring"s are essentially a "line" contact, whereas these have a height of 0.35 inch.
Price is for *eight* (8) pieces.  These dampers fit many Octal and Loctal based vacuum tubes, such as 6SN7, 6SL7, 5692, 7F8, 1620 (the metal tube on the right, in the photo), 2C50, etc.  If in doubt, please inquire.
Made of high grade, "Nitrile" rubber in the U.S., I have tested them to *500* degrees F.    However, industry standards for Nitrile recommend a maximum operating temperature of *250* degrees F., so it is probably wise to limit their application to "small signal" (preamplifier and line stage) tubes, rather than output tubes.  These microphonic dampers ***fit very snugly***, for optimum performance, and I strongly suggest that they be lubricated by moistening with water before installing on the tube envelope.  I find that they are easier to install by "rolling" them onto the tube envelope, rather than pushing them down in a straight, linear manner.
