These shielded interconnects are made with GENUINE DUELUND DCA16GA 16awg Tinned Copper Cable, Tinned Copper Braiding, Natural Cotton Cable Cover, Switchcraft 3502AAU Connectors, and Kester 44 Solder. Cable can be made directional (floating shield) or bi-directional (shield is terminated on both ends)

The Shielded Duelund Interconnects have a distinct difference than the unshielded version - I've found these have a bit more dense and rich midrange - very very enjoyable to listen to. If you are looking for a beautifully voiced yet smooth midrange - these cables are the ticket. If you need a bit more clarity + detail, checkout the Shielded DCA20GA.
