Offered for your buying consideration is a new factory fresh replacement for that lost or damaged "POWER CORD" to your
PIONEER
reel to reel tape recorder/deck.   This is a no-nonsense modernized reproduction, patterned from the original non-polarized
power cord that came with your vintage
PIONEER
machine.  Form fitting and ready for service with an
Unconditional Warranty.
IMPORTANT:  If you intend on utilizing all the power options that your
original power cord provided, ours is the right one for your
PIONEER
machine and a true copy of the original.  It is compatible with your machine and will permit you to take full advantage of all the power options as recommended in your owner's manual.  And it will work perfectly
with the "switched" /
"unswitched" power inputs on
the back panel of your vintage
receiver or amplifier.  Completely compatible and extremely versatile.
Some
replacement power cords being offered online cannot perform in the same manner as above.  Polarized extension cord
s from the local hardware store which are ground-down-to-fit simply won't work in the same manner because of their wider blade configuration.   And once degraded from excessive heat retention during the grinding process and thereafter significantly modified, they are much more vulnerable to failure, or possibly worse, and unfortunately any
previous claim to a "UL Rated"
safety standard is no longer valid.  In comparison, we are confident our uncompromised power cord will outperform and safely outlast their version which is why we can proudly offer an unconditional ten year warranty.
So if you need a truly compatible equivalent
with the versatility and likeness of the original power cord and not just a
"reasonable replacement"
