This listing is to service your Technics EPA-500B base. Now that these tonearms are over 30 years old, they need service. For this service, after you send me your EPA base I will go thru the base and clean and relube all moving parts. This service will often repair stuck or hard to adjust height adjustment. This will also restore the operation of a malfunctioning cueing mechanism. I also check and can properly adjust the bearings. I can also add a ground wire for hum free performance, at no extra cost, this is great if you no longer have the stock wires and that little extra ground plug/wire. Just hook up your R&L audio cables and new ground wire.
This service will help insure the Technics EPA-500 proper functioning for the next 30 years.
For an additional I can re-wire the base with pure silver teflon wires. This is only for the base to be re-wired, the arm tube is an additional for silver teflon wires. OR OR for both the arm base and armtube in addition to this listings cost. I only do re-wire jobs on EPA's if you pay for my EPA service (this listing).
