Tested vacuum tube amp power Transformer 6.3 6.3 700VCT can power 12ax7s 2x 6L6

Description

For experienced tube amp builders only. For amp builder experienced with 1200V tap you probably won't use. I am discounting this transformer greatly because it has a 1200 volt tap for CRT and user is responcible to cover safely. It should have enough power for a pair of 6l6 and bunch of 12ax7s etc,

Black wires are 120 V in. Green wires are 6.3, and are the CT for red 700VCT. There also are two very long brown wires marked 6.3V. The wire marked 1200 V is 1200 ac vs thick yellow wires. Even if you cut off the 1200 V, the yellow wires if stripped will make a low current statically arc to the frame, so both must be covered properly also. The yellow wires can be touched together and both to the ground with very little current increase on the primary. Their voltage is not stable on my meter due to the static, but I think the yellow wires are for a small 9 pin 1V2 rectifier , so consider the wire marked 1200V and both thick yellow wires very high voltage which should be taped up, to use the usual 6.3 and 700VCT for tube amp.
