THERE ARE A FEW FLEA BITES ON THE LID (IT IS SHOWN CLOSE UP- IN THE LAST 3 PICTURES FROM 3 DIFFERENT ANGLES.) THERE ARE SMALL AND VERY HARD TO FIND THEY ARE THERE. But no other damage noted.

Once you decide to keep, it can easily be removed with a small amount of soap and water, leaving no damage.
